Kathmandu – The internationally acclaimed business reality show ‘Shark Tank’ is set to premiere its second season in Nepal. Following the success of the first season, Himalaya Television is expediting preparations for the upcoming season.
Applications are now open for entrepreneurs who wish to present their business ideas in the new season. Interested candidates can apply by filling out the form available on Himalaya Television’s official website.
Applicants must be Nepali citizens, have registered their business in Nepal, and must have submitted at least one balance sheet to the tax office, according to Himalaya Television’s requirements.
Himalaya Television’s Executive Director, Shyam Kadel, shared that once the screening process of applicants is completed within two weeks, filming is scheduled for the month of Baisakh (mid-April to mid-May).
The first season featured nearly 80 entrepreneurial ideas and attracted investment amounting to approximately NPR 350 million. This season, Executive Director Kadel stated, the goal is to raise around NPR 500 million in investment.
