Man Kills Wife and Then Shoots Himself in Kailali

March 18, Dhangadhi – In Kailali, a man has killed his wife.

According to police sources, Ram Bahadur Magar, around 31 years old, shot and killed his 28-year-old wife, Sanjita Magar, while he had taken the goats to graze in the forest of Godawari Municipality-4, Amleshaini village.

Acting Chief of Kailali District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Yogendra Timilsina, reported that Ram Bahadur shot his wife with a licensed firearm following a dispute.

After killing his wife, he also shot himself with the same gun and sustained injuries. The injured Ram Bahadur is currently undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital.

The body of the deceased Sanjita remains at the crime scene and will be taken after the arrival of her family, the police stated. DSP Timilsina also confirmed that further investigation into the incident has begun.
