
Decision Made to Recall Five Doctors from Deputation at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital
March 30, Saptari – A decision has been made to recall five doctors who were on deputation at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj. The Ministry of Health and Population has decided to bring back the doctors assigned to Rajbiraj Hospital so that they can return to their respective designated areas.
The doctors on deputation at this hospital include Senior Consultant ENT Surgeon Dr. Rohit Bajracharya, Consultant Anesthesiologists Dr. Joshnalal Bajracharya and Dr. Vishalkumar Dev, Consultant Radiologist Dr. Prakash Dhakal, and Consultant Psychiatrist Dr. Sushil Samdarshi. These doctors had been serving in areas other than their specialty: Dr. Rohit Bajracharya was deputed at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan; Dr. Joshnalal at the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office of Koshi Province; Dr. Vishalkumar at Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar; Dr. Prakash at the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office of Lumbini Province; and Dr. Sushil at the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office of Karnali Province, according to hospital sources.
Local residents expect that recalling these doctors, who have been away on deputation for a long period, will lead to an improvement in hospital services.
