
Land Minister Rawal Initiates Direct Dialogue with Cooperative Victims
Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives, and Poverty Alleviation, Pratibha Rawal, has begun direct discussions with victims affected by cooperatives. The government is progressing with the goal of reimbursing small cooperative savers within one hundred days. Minister Rawal initiated dialogue with the victims at a time when the government is determined to return funds to small cooperative savers. Since this morning, victims from various cooperatives across the country have gathered at the ministry to voice their concerns and issues directly to Minister Rawal, according to the ministry secretariat.
The affected general public, who have long been unable to recover their savings, have now been given an opportunity to share their situations firsthand. During the discussion, Minister Rawal emphasized that the ministry is advancing with a high priority to address the victims’ problems. “The ministry is committed to effectively resolving the issues of those affected,” she stated.
The government is working systematically to address the problems in the cooperative sector and is particularly focused on implementing plans to provide relief to small savers, Minister Rawal added. This dialogue is expected to be a significant step toward resolving the issues faced by cooperative victims.
