New Theater Construction Underway in Dang

March 7, Kathmandu – Initiated by media and film professional KL Budhathoki, the construction of the Pahal Theater has begun in Ghorahi, Dang.

Started with the aim of promoting community art, culture, and theater, this new theater is expected to elevate regional artistic activities to new heights, Budhathoki stated.

According to construction coordinator Budhathoki, the Pahal Theater is planned to be developed as a community arts center. It will host stage plays, film screenings, literary events, musical performances, and various other creative activities.

The initiative is anticipated to provide local artists a platform to showcase their talents while also attracting the younger generation towards arts and culture.

Budhathoki mentioned that the theater construction is targeted to be completed within approximately one year. He also noted that the project is progressing with the active support and participation of the community.

This project is believed to play a significant role in establishing Dang as a prominent cultural hub in the future, according to Budhathoki.
