At first glance, this might appear to be a minor issue, but in diplomacy, the ‘first impression’ and presentation hold great significance. Lining up plastic bottles on the table in front of ambassadors comes across as somewhat “cheap, careless, and informal.” This clearly exposes a lack of diplomatic sensitivity on our part.
