Barcelona took the lead in the fourth minute in Madrid with a goal from Lamin Yamal. Ferran Torres equalized on aggregate with a goal in the 24th minute. However, in the 31st minute, Ademola Lookman scored to restore Atletico’s lead. In the second half, Barcelona continued to press but failed to score. At the 79th minute, Eric Garcia received a red card, reducing Barcelona to 10 players. Unable to find an equalizer before the final whistle, Barcelona’s comeback bid fell short. With this win, Atletico Madrid secured a spot in the semifinals, where they will face the winner of the Arsenal vs. Sporting CP tie.
