How Much Revenue Did the Producers of ‘Ram Naam Satya’ Generate?

The film ‘Ram Naam Satya,’ released on March 11, has grossed NPR 32 million at the box office as of Monday, according to distributor Govind Shahi. Producer Upendra Shahi reported earnings of NPR 7 million from overseas markets excluding the United States, where the film is scheduled for 200 shows from April 24. Director Michael Chand revealed that the digital rights were sold for NPR 7.2 million, securing profits for the production team. With a production budget of NPR 30 million, the film is on the path to financial safety.

Kathmandu — Screening since March 11, ‘Ram Naam Satya’ has achieved a gross collection of NPR 32 million by Monday, distributor Govind Shahi stated. According to the Development Board’s figures until Saturday, the earnings were around NPR 27.8 million. However, some theater data are not included in the board’s records, resulting in slightly higher actual trade figures, Shahi explained.

Producer Upendra Shahi confirmed that the film has so far earned NPR 7 million from foreign markets excluding the United States. Starting April 24, the film will be showcased with 200 shows in various cities across the U.S. The production team has sold shares of the film in the U.S. market and expects substantial returns from there as well.

Director Michael Chand shared that OSR Digital acquired the film’s digital rights for NPR 7.2 million, providing financial benefits to the production side. He further noted that with a budget of NPR 30 million, the film is moving toward a secure financial footing.
