
Constitutional Amendment Task Force Invites Janajati Movement Leaders for Discussions
April 13, Kathmandu – The task force established to prepare the discussion paper for constitutional amendments has invited representatives of the Janajati movement for talks. Led by Prime Minister’s political advisor Asim Shah, the task force sent two separate letters on Friday inviting 29 leaders of the Janajati movement to participate in the discussion. The letters specified that the discussions will take place from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Each speaker has been allocated three minutes during the session. Among the Janajati representatives invited are Raksha Bam, Uparjun Chamling, Tanuja Pandey, Majid Ansari, Arnav Chaudhary, Rijan Ranamagar, Amrita Ban, Yujan Rajbhandari, Prabhash Basnet, Pema Wangbu, Tank Jasi, Yadav Aryal, Yatish Ojha, Janak Pokharel, Ayush Basyal, Sudip Seth, Arunsingh Nepali, Biplavi Nyaupane, Sanken Rai, and Monika Niraula. In a separate letter, Laxmi Ghimire, Monisha Chaudhary, Prajwal Bikram Rana, Amit Khanal Urja, Prabhat Labh, Sharishma Thapa, Pravesh Dahal, Kamal Magar, and Ruksana Kapali have also been called for discussions.
