Nepali Congress Appoints 17 Members to Election Bureau

Gagan Kumar Thapa, the president of the Nepali Congress, has appointed 17 members to the party’s Election Bureau. The bureau was formed under the coordination of Vice President Pushta Bhusal, focusing on provincial and local level elections. The members have been tasked with creating a nationwide election database and preparing a comprehensive election plan. Kathmandu, 6th Jestha.

President Thapa has also given a mandate to the appointed members. According to Acting General Secretary Krishnaprasad Dulal, their responsibilities include building a nationwide election database for the party, developing extended election plans for 753 local levels, 6,743 wards, and 7 provinces, as well as analyzing voter and ground realities to make the candidate selection process more scientific and data-driven.
