
Chinese Premier Li Qiang Meets Vladimir Putin, Commits to Strengthening Cooperation
Chinese Premier Li Qiang expressed readiness to collaborate with Russia during his meeting with President Vladimir Putin. He emphasized deepening political mutual trust and enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, energy, agriculture, and connectivity. Kathmandu, June 6.
According to Chinese state broadcaster CCTV, during the afternoon meeting at the Great Hall of the People on Wednesday, Premier Li stated that following the strategic guidance of both heads of state, China is prepared to work with Russia to deepen political mutual trust, increase mutual support, and maintain stability amid changing circumstances.
He highlighted the need for enhanced cooperation in trade and investment, energy, agriculture, connectivity, and people-to-people relations to ensure high-level mutual benefits and a win-win outcome for both sides. Li also remarked that both parties must strengthen coordination within multilateral platforms, actively implement global governance initiatives, and jointly safeguard international fairness and justice.
