
Bhuwan Nagarkoti Wins the Surya Nepal Challenge Title
Bhuwan Nagarkoti secured the title at the Surya Nepal Challenge, part of the Surya Nepal Golf Tour 2025-26. Bhuwan finished with a score of 11-under 261, defeating Dinesh Prajapati and Rahul Bishwakarma by two strokes. The competition featured 52 players and offered a total prize pool of NPR 710,000.
In today’s event, Bhuwan shot an even-par 68, finishing overall at 11-under 261, surpassing Dinesh Prajapati and amateur Rahul Bishwakarma. This victory marks Bhuwan’s fourth title of the season and the 15th of his career. He also took home NPR 130,000 in prize money. Amateur Rahul and professional Dinesh tied for second place, each posting 4-under 64 in the final round and a combined 9-under 263.
Dinesh, who finished second, earned NPR 90,000, while Shukra Bahadur Rai, who came in fourth with an 8-under 264, received NPR 70,000. Niraj placed fifth with a 7-under 265 score and was awarded NPR 55,000. The winning players were presented with their prizes by Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd. brand manager Vidurraj Adhikari, Nepal Golf Association president Tashi Ghale, and PGA Nepal president Ravindra Man Shrestha.
