Foreign Exchange Rates Set for Today by Nepal Rastra Bank

May 26, Kathmandu – Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is set at NPR 152.08 and the selling rate at NPR 152.68.

Similarly, the European Euro has a buying rate of NPR 177.09 and a selling rate of NPR 177.79. The British Pound Sterling’s buying and selling rates are NPR 205.24 and NPR 206.05, respectively, while the Swiss Franc’s rates are NPR 194.64 for buying and NPR 195.41 for selling.

For other currencies, the Australian Dollar is priced at NPR 109.03 (buying) and NPR 109.46 (selling). The Canadian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 110.10 and a selling rate of NPR 110.54. The Singapore Dollar is quoted at NPR 119.06 for buying and NPR 119.53 for selling. The Japanese Yen (per 10 units) has buying and selling rates of NPR 9.57 and NPR 9.61 respectively. The Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 22.42 (buying) and NPR 22.50 (selling), and the Saudi Arabian Riyal at NPR 40.53 and NPR 40.69.

The Qatari Riyal’s buying rate is NPR 41.72 with a selling rate of NPR 41.88. The Thai Baht’s rates are NPR 4.68 for buying and NPR 4.70 for selling, while the UAE Dirham is priced at NPR 41.40 (buying) and NPR 41.57 (selling). The Malaysian Ringgit has rates of NPR 38.48 and NPR 38.63. The South Korean Won (per 100 units) is set at NPR 10.04 (buying) and NPR 10.08 (selling). The Swedish Krona’s buying and selling rates are NPR 16.39 and NPR 16.46, respectively, and the Danish Kroner’s are NPR 23.70 (buying) and NPR 23.79 (selling).

Additionally, the Hong Kong Dollar’s rates stand at NPR 19.41 for buying and NPR 19.49 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is quoted at NPR 495.86 and NPR 497.82, while the Bahraini Dinar’s rates are NPR 403.40 and NPR 404.99. The Omani Riyal is fixed at NPR 395.01 (buying) and NPR 396.57 (selling). The Indian Rupee (per 100 units) has a buying rate of NPR 160 and a selling rate of NPR 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates can be revised at any time if necessary. It also noted that commercial banks may set different rates, and updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s official website.
