Trump Issues Stern Warning to Netanyahu Over Israeli Military Actions in Lebanon

U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed strong opposition to Israeli military operations and attacks in Lebanon during a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump ordered an immediate halt to Israel’s planned bombing of Beirut, the Lebanese capital, warning that if the plan continues, Israel will become isolated. Following American pressure, a government official confirmed that Israel has temporarily suspended its planned attack on Beirut. Kathmandu, 19 Jestha.

During a phone call on Monday, Trump harshly criticized Netanyahu with strong and unrestrained language. His reaction stemmed from concerns that the escalating conflict could jeopardize ongoing peace talks with Iran. Trump went as far as calling Netanyahu insane and accused him of ingratitude, stating, “Your behavior is completely crazy. If it weren’t for me, you would be in jail, yet I have been protecting you.”

Trump expressed deep objection to the strategy of demolishing buildings aimed at killing several civilians in Lebanon and targeting a Hezbollah commander. Following this dialogue, a statement from Prime Minister Netanyahu’s office indicated that attacks on Beirut would continue until Hezbollah ceases its offensives, and military operations in southern Lebanon would also persist.
