The Crucial Role of Youth in Protecting Democracy and Nationalism: Chief Minister Acharya

Chief Minister Chetan Narayan Acharya of Lumbini Province stated that the provincial government’s policy and program prioritize the youth. Speaking at the inauguration of the Lumbini Provincial Youth Conference 2083 today, he expressed a commitment to make the upcoming budget youth-friendly. Acharya urged young people to be mindful of their duties, emphasizing that merely demanding rights is insufficient.

Chief Minister Acharya explained that the upcoming budget and programs will be prepared based on the policy and program framework, and that youth-friendly plans and initiatives will be made more effective. Krishna Pangeni, President of the Nepal Red Cross Society Lumbini Province, and Ridhi Sharma, a UNICEF representative, among others, shared their perspectives on youth participation, leadership development, and social responsibility.
