
Surendra Awasthi Elected Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party Dadeldhura
A nine-member district committee was formed under the leadership of Engineer Surendra Awasthi at the first district convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party Dadeldhura. Following an inconclusive consensus, Madan Dhami and Tank Awasthi were respectively elected as vice-chairman and secretary.
Dadeldhura, 24 Jestha — Engineer Surendra Awasthi has been selected as the chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party Dadeldhura. A nine-member district committee was created under Awasthi’s leadership during the inaugural district convention. Although the convention began with unanimous efforts on Saturday, no consensus was reached regarding the positions of vice-chairman and secretary.
In the voting for vice-chairman, Madan Dhami was elected, while Tank Awasthi secured the secretary position. Other candidates included Chandra Khadka for vice-chairman and Sangita Bhandari, former deputy mayor of Amargadhi Municipality in Dadeldhura, for secretary. Additionally, Basant Pandey was appointed as deputy secretary. The members appointed are Mina Phulara, Dev Singh Bhat, Santosh Air, Chandradev Kunwar, and Jitendra Jaire.
