
Foreign Minister Khanal Highlights India’s Enthusiasm for Nepal’s New Government
Foreign Minister Shashir Khanal stated that there is enthusiasm in India regarding the new government led by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (Raswapa). He expressed confidence that a stable government will enable Nepal and India to confidently advance various cooperative projects. Khanal said, “There is enthusiasm for the new government, and Nepal has secured a stable administration.” 24 Jestha, Kathmandu.
Minister Khanal, returning from a visit to India on Sunday, remarked that a stable government will allow Nepal and India to advance their collaborative projects and initiatives with assurance. He added, “Through this stable government, we can work confidently on cooperative projects and related matters between Nepal and India.”
He noted that the Raswapa government has reassured India, overcoming difficulties caused by frequent government changes in completing projects and dialogues initiated earlier. Khanal commented, “However, I have sensed that the current stable government has instilled confidence in India.”
