Suraj Krishna Shrestha Arrested on Child Abuse Charges at ISKCON
Suraj Krishna Shrestha, the operator at ISKCON located in Budhanilkantha, has been arrested on allegations of child abuse. According to Superintendent of Police and spokesperson Suraj Krishna Shrestha of the District Police Office, Kathmandu, the arrested individual is Suraj Krishna Shrestha himself. Police reports indicate that he is a member of the management team. An investigation is underway regarding the offenses related to children. The police have stated that Shrestha was taken into custody following complaints from the affected children.
