One of the main suspects in the highly publicized coaching center shooting in India was found dead last night in Biratnagar. On June 2, a shooting occurred at Khan Global Studies, run by Faizal Khan, known as ‘Khan Sir’, in Patna, Bihar’s capital city. Among the accused was 24-year-old Indian national Prince Yadav, who was found dead in Biratnagar. He had an injury to one of his eyes. After his death, police arrested four individuals who were staying with him and initiated an investigation.

According to Morang police sources, Prince Yadav (also known as Prince Anand) is the younger brother of Roshan Anand, who runs Gyanbindu Academy in Patna. Faizal Khan, the operator of Khan Sir Academy, had filed a complaint against the brothers. When police began searching, Prince fled to Biratnagar. He had been staying at Shubh Hotel in Biratnagar-10 for several days. When he was found unconscious Saturday night, his friend took him to Neuro Hospital at 10:55 pm. According to the hospital administration, he was already deceased upon arrival. Given his association with the controversy, his death has raised suspicions.

Police reported that aside from a minor injury on the deceased’s eye lid, no other wounds were visible. Due to the suspicious nature of the incident, police have detained four others from Bihar’s Saharsa area—25-year-old Ankit Kumar Yadav, 27-year-old Roshan Yadav, 21-year-old Lattu Yadav, and 30-year-old Jayram Yadav—for investigation. Morang Police Chief Kavita Katwal stated that Yadav came to Biratnagar on May 20 with friends. They initially stayed two days at Metro Hotel before moving to Shubh Hotel. Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Yadav’s death. The body has undergone a post-mortem and been handed over to the family. Deputy Superintendent Katwal confirmed that a detailed investigation is underway.
