Vijay Subba Warns Party’s Demise Imminent Without Leadership from Committed Leaders

2 Asar, Kathmandu – Nepali Congress leader Vijay Subba has expressed serious concerns over activities occurring within the party. Through social media, he stated that if leaders with good intentions are not placed in leadership positions, the party is nearing its end. “Dear loyal comrades of the party, I am not ready to give up on the party-building campaign,” he said. “I have repeatedly urged all senior leaders to immediately correct the distortions and un-communist irregularities that are destroying the party. I have clearly presented these concerns at the party constitution’s general convention as well as at various levels of conventions, yet I have been accused of making anti-party statements.”

He argued that the current problems have intensified due to ignoring the need to rectify inside wrongdoings and the tendency to please sycophantic leaders. Everyone is aware that all problems surfaced leading to the present situation, he noted. Subba added, “If the party fails to promote well-intentioned leaders, it will have to await the party’s demise.”
