Ukrainian Drone Attack Targets Moscow Oil Refinery Amid Russia-Ukraine War
A Ukrainian drone strike on an oil refinery in Moscow has marked the most significant assault launched by Ukraine since the outbreak of full-scale war. Reports indicate that nearly 200 drones were deployed in the Moscow area alone during the attack. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Ukraine launched a total of 1,000 drones and four cruise missiles across the country within the past 24 hours, all of which were intercepted.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that this operation was conducted in response to a recent Russian attack in Kyiv, where a major religious site was reportedly set on fire. “We do not want this war and never wanted it,” Zelensky said. “But if Ukraine is burning, then so will your Moscow.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is currently hosting the conference of Southeast Asian nations, has yet to issue any response regarding the large-scale attack on the capital.
