The USA showed early dominance by taking the lead in the third minute, with a goal scored by Austin Trusty. However, in the 10th minute, Turkey’s Arda Güler equalized the score. Later, in the 31st minute, Turkey’s Orkun Kökçü scored to put his team ahead 2–1.
