First Traditional and Indigenous Sports Competition to be Organized

June 26, Kathmandu – Nepal All Sports Hub is set to organize the first traditional and indigenous sports competition. The event will take place in Sifal, Kathmandu Metropolitan Ward 7, featuring six different games. The games included are Dandi Biyo, Bagchaal, Buddhi Chal, Tug of War, Ghaitou Four, and Satput.

This two-day competition will hold the Bagchaal and Buddhi Chal games at Thapathali Chess Park. The sports festival is expected to be beneficial for both the development of Nepali sports and the preservation of cultural heritage. Since it is an open competition, it is anticipated that national-level players will participate in Buddhi Chal.
