Egypt Finishes as Group ‘G’ Runner-Up; Iran Maintains Chance to Advance to Knockout Stage

The match proved extremely unfortunate for Iran. After missing a penalty and having a late goal disallowed for offside in injury time, Iran was unable to secure a victory.
