India Strongly Condemns Pakistan’s Airstrikes on Afghanistan

June 16, Kathmandu — India has strongly condemned the airstrikes conducted by Pakistan on Afghanistan, expressing deep condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. India described the actions as a blatant attack on Afghanistan’s sovereignty, stating that they pose a direct threat to regional peace and stability. “India strongly condemns the airstrikes carried out by Pakistan on Afghan soil,” said a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs. “These attacks have resulted in the deaths of many innocent civilians, including women and children.”

The ministry characterized Pakistan’s actions as a display of “reckless behavior” and accused it of conducting such operations to divert attention from its internal failures. India reiterated its unwavering support for Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Earlier, Pakistan reported conducting ground and air military operations inside Afghanistan around midnight on Sunday and Monday. According to the Pakistani government, 29 militants were killed during these operations. However, Afghanistan’s Taliban administration claimed that dozens of civilians, including children and women, were killed in the attacks.
