Tornado Shatters Glass on Streets of Ajo, China

A tornado struck the city of Ajo in China, causing glass shards to scatter across the streets. Videos shared online show residents rushing indoors to seek safety. The strong winds shattered glass, leaving fragments strewn throughout the area.

The tornado resulted in at least 11 fatalities and hundreds of injuries. Such an event is considered rare for this region. According to government media, the last tornado was recorded in 2021. Local authorities are currently conducting emergency rescue and relief operations.
