
IGP Karki Returns Home After Attending Regional Organized Crime Summit
Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki has returned to Nepal after participating in a regional summit on organized crime held in Bangkok, Thailand. The summit, organized by the FBI and the Royal Thai Police on August 20 and 21, focused on the necessity of global cooperation to combat cybercrime, fraud, and cross-border crime.
On August 21, Kathmandu — Police Inspector General (IGP) Dan Bahadur Karki returned home following his participation in the regional organized crime summit. The event took place in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 20 and 21, coordinated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Royal Thai Police. During the summit, in-depth discussions emphasized the indispensable role of international collaboration in controlling organized crime, cybercrime, fraud, and transnational criminal activities.
