US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran following a missile attack targeting American troops in Jordan. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards launched ballistic missiles at a US military base located in Jordan. The US Central Command reported that all missiles fired from Iran were successfully intercepted, with no casualties reported so far.
On Wednesday morning, Trump delivered an aggressive and confrontational message directed at Iran. The missile attack on the American forces in Jordan occurred suddenly overnight. Speaking with Fox News Chief Correspondent Trey Yingst, Trump said, “We will show them their place.” He added, “We will strike them very hard. They will receive a strong response.”
President Trump explained that American troops stationed in Jordan had only minutes to detect and intercept the ballistic missiles launched by Iran. He stated that he personally viewed real-time video footage showing coordination among US military personnel during the missile interception operations. Meanwhile, the US Central Command confirmed the successful neutralization of all Iranian missiles.
According to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the ballistic missile strikes targeted the Muwaffaq al-Salti Air Base in Jordan as well as the headquarters of the US Central Command.
