Manish Danghi Appeals to Lift Ban on Nepali Football

Manish Danghi, a member of the Nepali national football team, has appealed to the relevant authorities to lift the ban imposed on Nepali football. He stated that playing for the nation is a matter of pride, identity, and honor, urging the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the National Sports Council (Rakhap) to take steps in the interest of both players and the country. Danghi emphasized, “Please allow us the opportunity to represent our flag, our people, and our dreams,” highlighting the need for the development of football in Nepal.

Kathmandu, 17 Shrawan — Manish Danghi, a member of the Nepali national football team, has appealed to the concerned bodies to remove the ban on Nepali football. On his Instagram account, he said, “Playing for the nation is not just a sport, it is a matter of pride, identity, and respect. As players, we have been working hard all year for this goal. Please give us the chance to represent our flag, our people, and our dreams.”

He stressed the necessity of both the existence and development of football in Nepal. Danghi called on ANFA, Rakhap, and other relevant bodies to act responsibly and take necessary steps in favor of the players and the nation. Currently, football activities in Nepal have been disrupted, prompting national team players to publicly express their concerns.
