
Russian Missile Attack Strikes Kyiv, Ukraine’s Capital, Resulting in Two Deaths
August 6, Kathmandu – Russia has launched a missile attack on Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The assault has reportedly caused two deaths and left 22 people injured. City officials in Kyiv have confirmed the death of a woman, while regional authorities reported another fatality in Bucha.
Timur Takachenko, head of Ukraine’s military administration, stated, ‘Russia is once again conducting a large-scale attack on Kyiv.’ During the assault on Tuesday night, air raid sirens sounded for hours as multiple missiles struck various locations within and around the city. The Ukrainian military accused Russian forces of deliberately targeting civilians and residential areas. However, Russia has yet to issue any response regarding this attack.
