
CAN Invites Bids for Cricket Ground Equipment Purchase Funded by ICC Grant
The Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) has initiated the procurement process for essential equipment for various cricket grounds using the grant received from the International Cricket Council (ICC). CAN has issued a notice inviting competitive international bids, with interested companies required to submit their applications by September 15, 2026. The deadline for bid submission is noon on September 16, 2026, and the bids will be opened at 1 p.m. on the same day, CAN has announced.
According to the notification released on Monday, CAN is calling for international competitive bids to purchase diverse cricket ground equipment. CAN stated that a portion of the ICC grant funds will be allocated toward procuring this equipment. The procurement process will follow a ‘single-stage, two-envelope’ procedure.
Companies and firms wishing to participate in the bidding must submit separate technical and financial proposals. Qualified bidders can purchase the bidding documents from CAN’s office in Mulpani until September 15, 2026. The fee for acquiring bidding documents has been set at NPR 10,000.
Those who prefer to submit their bids electronically can download the documents free of charge from CAN’s official website. Bids must be submitted directly, via courier, or electronically to CAN’s Mulpani office by 12 noon on September 16, 2026. The bid opening ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. the same day in the presence of bidders’ representatives. CAN has mandated a minimum bid security equivalent to NPR 1.5 million alongside the bids.
