185 Ncell and Telecom Sites Resumed Operations in Flood-Affected Areas

Mobile services have been restored at 185 sites of Nepal Telecom and Ncell in the districts of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading. Of the 198 BTS/mobile sites that were disrupted due to flooding, 13 sites are still awaiting resumption of operations. Service has resumed from sites including Rasuwa Border, Upper Senzen, Chapthoke, Zipjipe, Gathlang, and Chaughare, covering the border regions and surrounding areas.

As of September 15, according to company data, a total of 198 BTS/mobile sites were affected in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts. Data up to 3:30 PM today shows that 185 sites have resumed operations, while 13 sites remain in the process of restoration. This progress helps ensure the reestablishment of communication services in the flood-affected regions.

In Rasuwa district, sites including Rasuwa Border located on the Nepal-China border, as well as Upper Senzen, Chapthoke, Zipjipe, and Gathlang, have all resumed services. The Chaughare and Chaughare Mulabari BTS sites in Nuwakot are providing daily services. Through the Rasuwa Border BTS site, communication services have been reinstated along the Nepal-China border crossing, including the Timure, Rasuwa Border corridor, Syafrubesi, and continuing to the Bhote Koshi corridor.
