Challenges in Relocating Communities Affected by Bhote Koshi-Trishuli Floods

The Ministry of Land Management has informed that the necessary legal procedures are being studied to arrange permanent resettlement for families affected by the Bhote Koshi-Trishuli floods that occurred last month, in safer locations. According to a member of the committee formed under the leadership of the Survey Department, 277 plots of land have been identified for families from Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading, where no other resettlement options exist.
