Russian President Putin Endorses Vyacheslav Volodin for State Duma Speaker

Kathmandu, 13 Ashoj – Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared his support for Vyacheslav Volodin’s candidacy as Speaker of the State Duma for the ninth term. This announcement came during a recent meeting with leaders of parties that won parliamentary seats in the latest elections. Speaking at the meeting, Putin stated, “On my behalf, I fully support Vyacheslav Volodin’s candidacy for the position of Speaker of the State Duma for the upcoming term.” He praised Volodin’s effective management of the house during his tenure as the Speaker of the eighth State Duma, noting that under Volodin’s leadership, the legislative environment remained principled and professional.
