Congress to Stay Out of Cockroach Janata Party’s Protest

October 11, Kathmandu – The Cockroach Janata Party has called for a protest on Saturday demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The party has invited all opposition groups to join this demonstration. The protest will see participation from the Left parties, Aam Aadmi Party, and the Trinamool Congress led by Mamata Banerjee. However, the Congress party will not be taking part in the event.

Rahul Gandhi will be in Chennai on Saturday attending another student event, hence not joining the protest. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav expressed his moral support to the CJ party on Friday and reiterated his backing for the demonstrators with a Twitter post on Saturday morning. Yadav stated, “We stand with the youth energy of the country. If the BJP government thinks it can suppress the people by force, it will be making a grave mistake. Jantar-Mantar has become not just a place name, but a symbol of new consciousness and awakening.” He added, “If the government suppresses the protesters, Jantar-Mantar will emerge in every corner of the country.”
