In the match at Garrison Jinnah Sports Complex in Islamabad, the strong Pakistan team defeated Nepal decisively with scores of 25-14, 25-18, and 25-10. Ranked higher by FIVB, Pakistan did not allow Nepal to exert any pressure in any of the sets. Securing their third consecutive win, Pakistan leads the group with 9 points. Meanwhile, Nepal has lost all three games so far, having previously taken Kazakhstan and Sri Lanka to five sets before ultimately falling.
Other matches on Friday saw Bangladesh claim their second victory by defeating Kazakhstan 3-2, while Uzbekistan recorded their second win by beating Sri Lanka 3-1. Nepal still has league matches pending against Bangladesh and Uzbekistan, scheduled for Sunday and Monday respectively, with no matches set for Saturday. This championship features six Central Asian nations, and following the league phase, the top four teams will advance to the semifinals. Nepal faces the challenge of winning both remaining games to reach the semifinals.
