President Putin Highlights Strengthening of Russian Navy and Naval Component of Nuclear Triad

President Vladimir Putin has stated that the Russian Navy is continuously evolving and the naval component of Russia’s nuclear triad is becoming increasingly powerful. He made these remarks in a congratulatory message on the occasion of Navy Day. Putin said, “The navy is constantly developing. The naval segment of Russia’s nuclear triad is achieving impressive strength. Construction of a series of warships and specialized vessels is ongoing. Advanced weapons and equipment are being supplied and modernized across underwater, surface, coastal, and airborne units.”

He noted that Russian naval sailors honorably carry forward their traditions. Putin added, “In Russia, surrounded by thirteen seas, the navy plays a crucial role in ensuring defense and security, as well as protecting the nation’s lawful interests in the oceans.” The president further informed that the Russian naval forces are currently capable of effectively performing tasks across all branches. The professionalism of the naval personnel is also steadily increasing. “They gain their capabilities both through training centers and actual combat experience. They are developing the ability to swiftly adapt to any strategic and technical changes,” he emphasized.
