Tension in Dewanganj Brought Under Control

The clash between two groups in Dewanganj Market, Sunsari, on Tuesday evening was brought under control after about two hours. DSP Chandra Khadka, spokesperson for the Sunsari District Police Office, informed that the increased tension in the market area has been contained. The police are currently assessing the extent of the physical damage caused by the clash. The incident occurred around 8 pm and was controlled by 10 pm. DSP Khadka confirmed the police intervention to manage the rising tensions in the market and said that damage reports are being compiled.
