Cannabis Hidden in Cosmetic Products Discovered at Tribhuvan International Airport

Two Indian nationals arriving from Thailand were arrested by police at Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal. Authorities seized 8.666 kilograms of cannabis concealed within cosmetic products from the detainees. The police have taken 33-year-old Siddhnath Uttam Jadev and 29-year-old Somnath Shankar Khadki into custody for further investigation.

Kathmandu, 29 July — The cannabis was found hidden inside cosmetic items brought by the two Indian citizens from Thailand. Siddhnath and Somnath were apprehended at Tribhuvan International Airport, where a total of 8.666 kilograms of cannabis was confiscated. Both individuals remain in custody as police continue their inquiries.
