Two NASA Astronauts Complete 6.5-Hour Spacewalk, Paving Way for New Solar Array Installation on ISS

Two astronauts completed a 6.5-hour spacewalk, opening the path to install a new solar array system on the International Space Station (ISS). NASA astronauts Anil Menon and Jessica Meir stepped outside the ISS on Thursday to install a mounting bracket during their extended spacewalk. This 6.5-hour excursion successfully positioned the station to receive the future roll-out solar panels.
