Earthquake Strikes During Surgeries at Hospital in Japan

During ongoing surgeries at a hospital in Kumamoto city, Japan, an earthquake caused the building to shake, affecting four patients currently undergoing surgical procedures. As the tremors began, doctors employed techniques to ensure the patients’ safety, as captured in newly released footage. The scenes also show nurses opening doors to create clear exit routes.

The hospital confirmed that all four surgeries were successfully completed. Following a brief suspension of services after the earthquake, the hospital has resumed normal operations starting this week.
