
Nepal Announces 15-Member Squad Led by Anil Kumar Sah for Top End T20 Series in Australia
The Cricket Association of Nepal has announced a 15-member Nepalese squad captained by Anil Kumar Sah for the upcoming Top End T20 series to be held in Australia. The tournament, scheduled to take place from August 21 to 30 in Darwin, features Nepal playing a total of six league matches. Key players in the squad include skilled batsmen Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Pawan Sarraf, and Kushal Malla.
Northern Territory’s Top End T20 series will see Nepal compete with a team selected by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) under the leadership of Anil Kumar Sah. Notably, opening batsman Kushal Bhurtel, who is not part of Nepal’s ODI squad, stands out as a principal player for this series.
Nepal’s opening match is scheduled against NT Strike on August 21, followed by a game against the Bangladesh High-Performance team on August 22. Subsequent fixtures include matches against Hobart Hurricanes Academy on August 24, ACT Comets on August 26, Kingsmen on August 27, and Victoria on August 29. Nepal has also participated in the previous edition of this tournament.
