Nepal Swimming Team to Train in India Ahead of 20th Asian Games

The Nepalese swimming team will undergo a one-month training camp in Bengaluru, India, as preparation for the 20th Asian Games. The seven-member delegation includes five athletes, and the team is scheduled to depart for India this Saturday. Ramchitra Mehta, Member-Secretary of the National Sports Council, saw off the team on Friday.

Among the athletes, the male swimmers include Jaden Shrestha, Abhib Pradhan, and Irvin Shrestha, while the female swimmers are Duwana Lama and Arya Maharjan. Ratnalal Maharjan will serve as the coach, with Shirish Gurung taking on the duties of team manager. The 20th Asian Games will commence on Ashoj 3 (mid-September).
