World War II Bomb Found Beneath Danube River in Slovakia Due to Water Shortage

A large World War II bomb submerged in the Danube River was uncovered in Slovakia following a sudden drop in the river’s water level. The bomb has since been deactivated.

An explosive ordnance disposal team extracted the bomb from the river and detonated it under controlled conditions.
