New summer signing, Greek winger Christos Tzolis, continuously energized Arsenal’s attack, playing a significant role in creating the first two goals. Bruno Guimarães was unavailable due to injury. Coventry City, making their first Premier League appearance in 25 years, struggled to pose any threat to Arsenal and managed only a single shot on target throughout the game.
