Saudi Arabia Sets Nepal a Target of 191 Runs in ACC Premier Cup

In the third match of the ACC Premier Cup, Nepal has been set a target of 191 runs by Saudi Arabia. Winning the toss, Saudi Arabia batted first and was all out for 190 runs in 49.2 overs. Nepal’s captain Sandeep Lamichhane bowled 10 overs, conceding 19 runs and taking 3 wickets. A win today will secure Nepal’s place in the semifinals with a game to spare.

Kathmandu, 21 Bhadra – In its third game of the ACC Premier Cup, Nepal is chasing a target of 191 runs set by Saudi Arabia. After winning the toss, Saudi Arabia batted first and was dismissed for 190 runs in 49.2 overs. Abdul Wahid top scored for Saudi Arabia with 77 runs, while Mohammad Atif contributed 30 and Mohammad Hisham Sheikh made 18 runs. Nepal’s captain Sandeep Lamichhane had an impressive bowling spell, taking 3 wickets for 19 runs in 10 overs.

Lalit Rajbanshi also impressed with the ball, taking 2 wickets for 26 runs in 10 overs. Dipendra Singh Airee claimed 3 wickets and Sher Malla took 1. If Nepal wins today, they will secure a semifinal spot ahead of schedule.
