Proceeds from Nepal Volleyball League’s Opening Day Ticket Sales Donated to Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund

A total of NPR 590,150 collected from ticket sales on the opening day of the Nepal Volleyball League (NVL) has been donated to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. Vimal Kumar Kedia, Chairman of the Kedia Group, handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle. The organizers had pledged to contribute the revenue from the first day’s ticket sales to assist flood victims with rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation efforts.

On 23rd Bhadra in Kathmandu, approximately NPR 600,000 raised from the Nepal Volleyball League’s inaugural day ticket sales was channeled to support flood-affected communities via the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. The total amount of NPR 590,150, gathered by the Kedia Group, was formally handed to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle by Kedia Group Chairman Vimal Kumar Kedia. The league’s organizers announced that the first day’s ticket revenue would be dedicated to relief, medical aid, and reconstruction for those impacted by recent floods.
