15 People Die Due to Toxic Alcohol Consumption in India

Approximately 15 people have died in recent days in the Banda area of Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, India, due to the consumption of toxic alcohol. More than 100 individuals are currently receiving treatment at government hospitals, with some in critical condition, officials have reported. The deceased and those affected are residents of various nearby villages. They exhibited symptoms such as vomiting, dizziness, and blurred vision. Kidney damage has been observed, leading to suspicion of methanol poisoning.

The local police have registered complaints against at least 20 individuals and arrested 10, vowing to take strict action against those responsible.
