Santosh Shrestha Finishes 11th in Women’s 10,000 Meters at 20th Asian Games

At the 20th Asian Games, Nepal’s Santosh Shrestha completed the women’s 10,000 meters race in 36 minutes and 20.84 seconds, securing 11th place. The competition took place at the Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium in Nagoya City, Japan. Santosh finished 3 minutes and 41.66 seconds behind the winner, Bahrain’s Yavi Winfred. In the race, she managed to surpass only two competitors.

On October 8, in Kathmandu, it was reported that Santosh Shrestha achieved 11th place in the women’s 10,000 meters event at the 20th Asian Games. Held at Nagoya City’s Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium, the event saw Santosh complete the distance in 36 minutes and 20.84 seconds. She trailed the champion, Bahrain’s Yavi Winfred, by 3 minutes and 41.66 seconds and succeeded in finishing ahead of just two other participants.
