Indu Barma Departs for Canada to Compete in Canada Super 60 Tournament

Indu Barma, captain of the Nepalese women’s cricket team, has left for Canada to participate in the Canada Super 60 cricket tournament. Indu has been signed by the Toronto Sixers for the second edition of the competition. She will compete at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada, where the tournament will be held from September 29 to October 4.

The Canada Super 60 is a franchise tournament played in the T10 format. Each team bats for 10 overs, with matches lasting approximately 90 minutes each. The competition features 24 men’s matches, while the women’s segment in its second edition includes three teams. The women’s teams participating are the Toronto Sixers, Vancouver Warriors, and Vancouver Anchors.

Alongside Indu, internationally renowned players such as Marizaan Kapp from South Africa, Fatima Sana from Pakistan, and Beth Heath from England will also take part in the tournament.
